Dr Anil Veerla has just joined Thornlie Square Medical Centre, he comes from Yorkshire, UK bringing extensive International medical experience and knowledge to our medical centre and the Thornlie community.

Dr Veerla graduated in Medicine in 1999 and completed General Practice postgraduate training (MRCGP) in 2012. He has worked in various hospitals and places in India and England. His General Practice training included Specialties like Primary Care, Geriatric Medicine, Psychiatry, Accident and Emergency.

He has also worked in Orthopaedics for 5 years from 2004 to 2009 in UK and attained MRCS qualification from Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Dr Veerla loves all aspects of Family medicine and has special interests in Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Medicine from his past experiences.

Dr Veerla is happily married with two children, he enjoys going to the gym, playing badminton, table tennis and cricket. His favourite past time is watching movies and photography.

Dr Veerla is fluent in English and he also speaks Telugu and Hindi.

Dr Agnieszka Etubus

Dr Agnieszka Etubus

MRCGP, DFSRH, FRACGP

Dr Etubus graduated in Medicine in 2007 from Lekarz, Pomeranian Medical University Poland. She undertook post-graduate training in the UK and has just come from Aberdeen, Scotland.

She had been working as a GP since 2011 in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. Having made Perth her new home with her young family, she has  joined Thornlie Square Medical centre in February 2018, bringing a wealth of international experience and knowledge to our medical centre and the Thornlie community.

Dr Etubus (GP) is very passionate about all areas of family practice with special interest and added training in Women’s Health, Mental Health, PRP, Diploma of Diabetes, IUD (Mirena/Copper coil) insertion and removals, and Sexual Health being her passion.

Dr Etubus also believes in providing holistic care to her patients.

When asked what she loves the most about being a family doctor, Dr Etubus says, “I enjoy the opportunity to participate in the care of varied patient groups and it is very satisfying to be able to provide continuity of care for my patients”

Dr (Su) Venkata Devathi

Dr Su Devathi comes from Yorkshire, UK. She brings extensive International medical experience and knowledge. She worked at Forrest Road GP until Jan 2020 & has moved to Thornlie Square Medical Centre in January 2020.

Dr Su graduated in Medicine in 1999 and completed General Practice postgraduate training (MRCGP) in England. She has worked in various hospitals and places in India and England.

Her General Practice training included Specialties like Primary Care, Geriatric Medicine, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Accident & Emergency, and pediatrics. She also had specialist training in Women and Sexual Health and IUD (Mirena/Copper coil) insertion and removals, Implanon insertion and removals

Dr Su moved to England (West Yorkshire) in 2004 and worked in various specialities in Acute Medicine and Elderly care before her GP training.

She loves all aspects of Family Medicine and has special interests in Women’s Health and Elderly Care.

Dr Su is happily married with two children, she enjoys going to the gym, listening to music, and cooking. Her favourite past time is watching movies and spending time with family and friends.

Dr Su is excited to be a part of the Thornlie community and she is very keen to share her wealth of experience and provide the best of care to our patients.

Dr Su is available Monday to Friday at Thornlie Square Medical Centre.

Dr Su is fluent in English, Hindi and Telugu.

Dr Ravi Morisetty

Dr Ravi Morisetty

MD, Dip Ortho, MRCS, DFSRH, MRCGP.

Dr Ravi Morisetty came to Australia January 2015, bringing a wealth of international experience and knowledge to our medical centre and the Thornlie community.

Dr Morisetty graduated in medicine in 1998 and has worked in various hospitals and practices in India, England and Scotland. He has undertaken placements in psychiatry and mental health, trauma and emergency medicine, ophthalmology, obstetrics and gynaecology to name a few. He has been involved in teaching students from various university medical schools, an experience he enjoys and hopes to continue.

He is passionate about all areas of family practice and primary care, with special interests and added training in orthopaedics and sports medicine, surgery, reproductive health, paediatrics and dermatology and skin cancer screening.

When asked what he loves the most about being a family doctor in Thornlie, Dr Morisetty says, “I enjoy working in the Thornlie community because it reminds me of ‘Annan’ a town in Scotland where I did my GP training. I enjoy the variety of patients I see and it is very satisfying to be able to provide the continuity of care for my patients.”

He is happily married with two young boys, and plays cricket and badminton in his spare time.  He is looking forward to continuing his relationship with the Thornlie community and providing his patients with the best of care.

Amin Shevketoglu – Podiatrist

Amin Shevketoglu studied at Queensland University of Technology in 2014 and achieved his Bachelor of Health Science Podiatry.

His special interests are sports injuries, rehabilitation, and biomechanical assessment.

Amin enjoys keeping fit and following all codes of football, especially The English Premier League.

Mrs Jayanthi Pandurangan – Dietitian

Jayanthi is an accredited practicing dietitian  who graduated in 2002 with a Master of  Nutrition and Dietetics  and then went on to complete a post graduate diploma in dietetics from Curtin University in 2014. She is member of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA) and member of coeliac society WA.

Jay has been in private practice since graduating from Curtin University. She has got special interest in the areas of weight concern, gastrointestinal disorder from irritable bowel syndrome to inflammatory bowel disease , stoma management , type II diabetes , cardiovascular health , coeliac disease, insulin resistance PCOS.

Jay focuses on an individual, client centred approach to dietetics, translating nutrition science into practical information, creating specific and achievable goals for each client. She also emphasis on Non- diet approach to weight management and passionate about creative positive experiences around food.

Dr. Antony J Raj, MAPS

Dr Antony Raj is a clinical psychologist with about 22 years of experience in treating
people with different psychiatric problems. He is trained in CBT, DBT, Schema
therapy, Internal Family System therapy, EMDR, Couples Therapy, Clinical
Hypnosis, etc.  He has worked in different government and private settings and
specialises in treating traumas. He is an EMDR consultant as well.

During his clinical psychology training days in NIMHANS, India, he wanted to prevent
suicide and used CBT extensively to help the traumatised people and after his
training in EMDR in 2000 he feels energised and fulfilled in his efforts in helping
traumatised people. He believes in people’s inherent ability to change and has been
passionate in facilitating the change in traumatised people. He finds his career
satisfying and rewarding as he uses a combination of therapies very flexibly
depending on the client’s needs.
